Uveal melanoma is the most common malignancy originating within the eye in adults. Uveal melanoma affects 7 of every million persons per year. However, the incidence of uveal melanoma increases with age. In patients over 70 years of age the incidence is approximately 20 persons affected per million.

Dr. Dahr is fellowship-trained in ocular oncology and practices vitreoretinal diseases and surgery as well as ocular oncology in Oklahoma City.

Many resources about uveal melanoma exist on the website. The purpose of this website is to provide a basic understanding of uveal melanoma for patients. This web site is an informational web site and does not substitute for a person-to-person medical consultation with a physician experienced in uveal melanoma.
